We explain our practices in plain language and keep this Policy up to date.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Fpot mobile application and related product experiences operated under the Fpot name. It describes our practices regarding information associated with your use of the app and the family archive you build.

By using Fpot, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please discontinue use of the app.

The content of your archive is provided by you. We do not ask you to submit family history that you are unwilling to keep, and you remain responsible for the information you choose to store.

We do not sell your family archive. We do not use your family records for advertising profiles.

Storage and Security

Fpot is designed so that your archive is kept as part of your personal app experience on your device. Protective measures are used to help keep stored archive materials secure against ordinary unauthorized access.

No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free. You should also keep your own backups of especially important family materials, and protect access to your device with appropriate device security practices.

Sharing and Disclosure

Fpot does not publish your archive publicly. Materials leave your private archive only when you choose to export or share them yourself.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of users, Fpot, or the public. Where legally permitted, we will limit such disclosure to what is necessary.

Retention and Deletion

Your archive remains available while you keep using Fpot and retain the related data on your device. You may edit or delete records within the app, and you may remove the entire archive using the data-management options provided in the product.

If you uninstall Fpot or clear the app’s local data, archive materials stored only in the app may be lost. Exported copies that you previously saved elsewhere are under your control and are not automatically deleted by the app.

Children and Family Records

Fpot is intended for adult users who manage family archives. If you include information about minors in a family tree or memory record, you are responsible for doing so lawfully and appropriately, and for treating that information with care.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children for marketing or similar purposes.
